Media

The Media pane holds your files and timelines. Right-click it to add files, folders, or timelines, or drag and drop files into Clumper.

Add from URL

Choose Add From URL to download media from a link. For video links, you can trim to a start and end time (hh:mm:ss) so only that part is downloaded. This requires yt-dlp to be installed.

Project and global media

• Project: only available in this project.
• Global: shared by every project.

Right-click media and choose Move to Global or Move to Project to switch.

Transcription

Imported video and audio are transcribed automatically, with progress shown in the Transcription column. Right-click media to Pause Transcription, Resume Transcription or Re-run Transcription.

Volume

When previewing media in the timeline, use the Media volume control to set its volume (up to 200%) for every clip using that media.

Missing files

If a file was moved or deleted, right-click it and choose Find Missing File… to locate it. Other missing files in the same folder are relinked automatically.

Number dated media

Turn on Number dated media in Settings to number files with a date in their name in date order, e.g. 2026-01-01 → 01 ~ 2026-01-01.
