Audio only / video only

Right-click clips and choose Show Audio Only or Show Video Only. Restore Audio & Video undoes it.

Freeze frames

Run Copy Freeze Frame from the Command Palette to capture the preview at the playhead as an image. Paste it anywhere on the timeline. Captures are saved to the freeze-frames folder in the Media pane.

Groups

Select clips and press Ctrl + G to group them into a single nested clip. Ctrl + Shift + G dissolves the group.

Tracks

Right-click a track header to add or delete tracks. Video tracks can be expanded to show their audio tracks, and each audio track can be muted.

With a track expanded, right-click a clip on one of its audio tracks and choose Insert track N captions to caption that audio By Word or By Sentence.

Multiple timelines

A project can have any number of timelines. Create one from the Media pane (New Timeline) and switch between them with Quick Open (Ctrl + P). Use Alt + ← and Alt + → to go back and forward.

Enter Temp Timeline (Command Palette) opens a blank scratch timeline that is never saved. Press Esc to return to your previous timeline.

Double-click a media clip to open its full source media in a temp timeline.

Preview

Scroll over the preview to zoom, and middle-click drag to pan. Zoom controls sit at the bottom of the preview.

Notes

Press Add Note to add a note on the clips at the playhead, or open the one already there. Notes can be colored and jumped between with Next Note / Previous Note. They export as markers (see Exporting).
